Our vision is to make the AAUP CC the foremost Graduates Association in the country with worldwide membership that focuses on the national issues and co-operation among membership.

Mision

Our mission is to unite Peradeniya graduates into one organization specially those living close to Colombo, to foster their wellbeing, to promote inter-disciplinary and inter-batch fellowship, to develop a close relationship with the University while assisting the undergraduates of the University whenever the need arises.

The Objectives of the Colombo Chapter shall be as follows

• to encourage, foster and promote close relation between the University and its alumni and the alumni themselves.
• to promote in the alumni body an interest in the affairs and well-being of the University.
• to provide and disseminate information regarding the University, its graduates, Faculties and students to the alumni.
• to ensure that alumni programmers are initiated and developed for the benefit of the alumni.
• to assist and support the efforts of the University in obtaining funds for its development.
• to serve as a medium through which alumni may support and advance the pursuit of academic excellence at the University.
• to guide and assist the Alumni passing out of the University to set themselves in employment and to engage in productive pursuits useful to society.
• to foster fellowship amongst the Alumni who work and/or reside in and around Colombo.
• to pursue any other objectives which are consistent with the above aims and objectives of the association.
